PropShop Selects Sterling OMS 360 to Advance Equities Trading Stack

May 19, 2026 · By Sara Lindqvist

Multi-asset prop firm PropShop signed with Sterling Trading Tech for OMS 360, deepening the use of professional-grade equities infrastructure across the prop trading category.

Sterling Trading Tech announced a client agreement with PropShop Trader, a multi-asset proprietary trading firm, to deploy Sterling's OMS 360 platform across its equities trading operation.

PropShop's selection of an institutional-grade OMS marks a continued shift in how prop firms are thinking about their underlying technology. As more operators target equities and futures alongside CFDs and crypto, the operational requirements — order management, risk, and execution — increasingly resemble those of a small institutional trading firm.

Sterling has long served broker-dealers and institutional trading firms. Bringing a prop trading client onto OMS 360 signals that vendors traditionally focused on regulated brokerages are now actively serving the prop firm category. That has implications for execution quality, compliance reporting, and the cost of running a credible multi-asset prop operation.

For PropShop, the deal supports a positioning aimed at more experienced traders who expect professional-grade execution. For the wider market, it is another data point that the technology stack of leading prop firms is converging toward the same systems used by institutional desks.
