SizeProp Raises Pre-Seed Round to Build Crypto Prop Trading Infrastructure
Cayman-based SizeProp closed a pre-seed round led by Igloo Inc. to build shared infrastructure for crypto-native prop firms, including risk, payouts, and trader analytics tooling.
SizeProp, a Cayman Islands-based startup, announced the close of a pre-seed funding round led by Igloo Inc. to build shared infrastructure for crypto-native prop trading.
The company is positioning itself as a back-end provider rather than a consumer-facing prop firm. Its planned product set spans evaluation logic, risk monitoring, payout pipelines, and trader analytics — the same operational stack that retail-facing operators currently build in-house or stitch together from multiple vendors.
Crypto prop firms have grown quickly over the past 18 months but remain operationally fragmented. Many firms run a hybrid stack of exchange APIs, custom risk engines, and manual payout workflows. SizeProp's bet is that the category is now large enough to support specialized middleware, similar to how MetaTrader and cTrader became foundational to CFD-prop operators.
The funding round arrives in the same week that Kraken Prop launched and PropMarket extended the funded-trader model into prediction markets. Together, the announcements describe an increasingly differentiated crypto-native prop segment that is moving past first-generation evaluation products into infrastructure, distribution, and adjacent venue plays.
